Creative Ad Manager privacy notice

Creative Ad Manager privacy notice

Updated November 4, 2026.

Shepherds Shelf operates Creative Ad Manager (CAM) as an internal tool for authorized staff and authorized automation. This notice describes CAM’s advertising and catalog integrations and supplements our Shepherds Shelf privacy policy.

Information CAM uses

When the business connects Meta, CAM accesses authorized business advertising assets: ad-account and Page identifiers, names and access information; campaign, ad-set, ad and creative identifiers and settings; advertising copy, media and destination links; and aggregated advertising metrics such as spend, impressions, clicks, purchases and purchase value. Saved performance reports contain aggregated ad metrics rather than individual customer purchase records.

CAM also stores media and metadata uploaded by authorized users, including creative names, tags, collections, review states and launch receipts. Its Shopify integration reads product-catalog information such as product titles, descriptions, prices, images, categories, tags and product links.

How CAM uses and shares information

CAM uses this information to organize creative assets, prepare advertisements, publish advertisements authorized by the business, associate launched ads with their source creatives, and report advertising performance. When an authorized user confirms publishing, CAM sends the selected media, copy and advertising settings to Meta.

Cloudflare hosts CAM’s application, database and media storage and provides access controls. Authorized staff and automation access the information needed to perform the work requested by the business. Meta and Shopify also process information through their respective services.

Storage, retention and removal

Uploaded media, saved reports and launch receipts remain in CAM until an authorized operator removes them or retires the workspace. Disconnecting or revoking an integration prevents future authorized API requests using that connection; it does not automatically erase previously saved CAM records or remove advertisements already published to Meta.

For questions, corrections or removal requests concerning CAM data, contact hello@shepherdsshelf.com. Identify the relevant business, account or creative so we can review the request. Do not send access tokens, passwords or other credentials. We may need to verify your authority over the relevant business information before acting.
