Your translation
Get to know the NKJV.
The New King James Version is an English translation of the Bible first published in 1982 by Thomas Nelson Publishers. It is a modern update of the 1611 King James Version, keeping the literary beauty and structure of the KJV while replacing most archaic words and grammar with contemporary English. The NKJV was translated from the same Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek texts used for the KJV, with some reference to newer manuscript evidence, making it easier to read while preserving traditional style.
